Entry 44 - Skydiving

Last night I got back in cavern after not being there for well over a week. Each time in since my last entry, there has been less and less happening. With the next episode (the season finale) coming now on November 1, it's looking like its going to be a long and quiet time in Uru.

That's why last night was such a pleasant diversion. I started later in the evening (10pm) and soon ran into Petfam and Aras. Petfam introduced to a new sport, skydiving. Folks have scoped out places where you can do strange jumps and get yourself into locations that are supposed to be inaccessible. She took us into the library in Ae'gura. Soon we were doing strange, mid-air jumps, that got us onto the railing, behind the DRC barricades. Then with one jump, you feel through the bottom of the library and were looking up at Ae'gura from below.

After that it was story time, a weekly event at Tayma's Bevin. r'Tayrtahn provides the stories. I've been reading these at the Bevin board, but this was my first time attending. Some of the old gang was there: Petfam, Aras, Anja, Flora, Eldyn, and Tara. Very enjoyable.

After that we were off to Teledahn for some more skydiving, this time from inside the interrogation room at the end of the age. I spent some time making jumps, but soon it was getting too late for me (1:30am) and I had to bid everyone farewell.

Most fun I've had in cavern in a month!

And one more note. Next Saturday there is an in cavern Job Fair where a number of 'hoods and guilds are promoting themselves. I noticed there was an Anti-Bahro group. I think Stephen may have to introduce himself to these guys. >:-)
