Ran into most of the regulars and caught up. Tayma's Bevin is growing by leaps and bounds, which is great. Met a couple of its newest members and they seemed real nice. Everyone is obsessed with punching out pellets and, I have to admit, the bug has bitten me to. Attaching points to the pellets immediately puts a competitive edge on things. The 40-30-20 recipe yields something like 450 points a pellet, but it was clear there were better formulas out there. I soon found 25-35-40 was a popular mix which Techno convinced me to tweak to 25-37-40, which yields about 900 points each.
As I mentioned in my last entry, the idea is that the pellets feed the algae that lives in the cavern lake, and when they get healthy enough, they will begin to glow. So this has got people into a pellet pushing frenzy with many folks cooking pellets with multiple avatars. I don't know. I can't help but think that Cyan has already timetabled when this next phase of the game will begin (I suspected the same with the Great Zero calibration), and it doesn't much matter what we explorers do. Then again, it's hardly a big deal to drop few pellets into the water now and again.

It did feel good to be back. By the way, I disappear to an island in Georgian Bay (that's part of Lake Huron of the Great Lakes in case you don't know). My brother-in-law and I are trying to get the whole island working with wireless Internet to facilitate us being able to spend more time up there. So far we've been partially successful. I can get a connection by his place (which is where the service comes in), but the access point we were trying to wire to service my place is yet to be working properly. Once we've got it all up, I got to take a shot at running Uru up there, though I'm not sure how much the reduced connection speed will effect the game.
